Daydream will be the first studio EP by Singaporean singer-songwriter Khally. Having worked closely with Prodbydan on her previous album, Let’s Talk About Love, this EP serves as a follow-up towards a more refined collective. This EP features homegrown rapper, OmarKENOBI, in one of the two tracks ‘Daydream’. Inspired by the song ‘Loose Ends’ performed by Loyle Carner and Jorja Smith, Khally and OmarKENOBI’s contrasting point of views and complementary sultry vocals birthed “Daydream” as a collaborative track. Prodbydan came in exploring atmospheric guitars to embody a dreamy, ethereal soundscape. With the rigidity of the beats created, the cohesive sound expresses intimacy, whilst crafting a vision for fresh, new sound in R&B music.
