Dustin Jones is a classical guitarist who brings a program featuring a fusion of original music and classical guitar. His compositions are heavily influenced by New Age, Latin, Jazz and Classical styles. Dustin has been a serious student of the classical guitar most of his life and has studied with many renown teachers of the genre including: William Kanengiser, Christopher Parkening, Tom Patterson and Daniel Bolshoy. His debut CD "Neskowin" (released in 2006) is a tribute to his fond memories of the Oregon Coast where he spent many summers of his childhood. Neskowin explores an eclectic repertoire of original and traditional music. Dustin recently completed his latest recording: “The Chapters of Life” featuring more of his compositions as well as the works of Bach, Albeniz, Tárrega, Dowland and Barrios. Dustin remains busy as a performing artist in addition to teaching guitar at his private studio. He has been requested to play for numerous engagements, radio spots, podcasts, audio books and concerts.
