The Barber's Chair EP is what happens when Ghost Dog sits down for a spell & spills his life's blood over Sharp Cuts'.....well.....cuts; so to speak. Each track is either named after a specific haircut he had at a particular time in his life or a foreshadowing to the concept at hand that Ghost Dog & Sharp Cuts masterfully capture. As such, this is the most personal Ghost Dog has ever gotten on some of these tracks as each hairstyle serves as either a time machine into his past or a vehicle for spectacular wordplay amidst the (often-times hilarious) banter & shenanigans well-known by anyone who's ever spent any significant time in a barber's shop....this is almost a short film in sonic form...
