简介
Epidemic, (n) An Outbreak Or Product Of Sudden Rapid Spread, Growth, Or Development. Who Is Epidemyk? Born and Raised on The East Side of Detroit To A Music-Inspired Family. Epidemyk Found Himself Surrounded By Music. His Mother, Grandmother And Aunts All Sang In The Church. But, It Was Rap Music That Captured His Immediate Interest. Tupac's Song, So Many Tears, Gets The Credit For Pulling Young Epidemyk's Attention Away From His Favorite Sega Video Game To Picking Up Pen and Paper. That Interest Was Then Coupled With The Incarceration Of A Very Close Family Member Who Also Served As Young Epidemyk’s Role Model and Mentor, That Led To Epidemyk To Add Structure to His Own Life's Experiences. Watching Various Rappers In Videos, The Affluent Images Contributed To Epidemyk Deciding " I Want That Life"! After Several Years Of Studying The Rap Landscape And Developing His Metaphorically Filled Storytelling Delivery Style, It Wasn't Until His Sophomore Year In High School That Epidemyk Finally Put Together His First Recording Project Titled "Now You Know Me" With His Best Friend At The Time Who Produced The Beats. Epidemyk Credits The Lackluster Response That The Project Received As The Motivating Force Behind Him Giving His All Everytime He Enters The Vocal Booth. This Led To The Release Of His Follow Up Project, “Premature Royalty”. This Project Served As Epidemyk's Calling Card. Now Armed With A Small But Constantly Growing Fanbase And Buzz. Epidemyk Then Released His Highly Anticipated and Critically Acclaimed Project "The Antidote". Epidemyk's Hunger For Greatness Was on Full Display on This Project. During This Period Epidemyk Lost His Dead End Job, Car and Was On The Verge Of Being Kicked Out Of College (Wayne State University). “The Antidote”, Was The Only Thing He Had To Keep Him From Becoming Engulfed By Depression Due To The Possibility of Being Broke Without A Clue. It Was At This Very Critical Life Moment That Epidemyk Enlisted The Guidance Of His Role Model And Mentor. Epidemyk Committed Himself To Becoming The Best. That Commitment Led Him To Las Vegas. It Was Here Along With Solid Support From His Uncle And Mentor That Subsequently Led To His Meeting Multi-Platinum Super Producer, Mally Mall. After listening To Epidemyk Drop Bars To Some Tracks That Were Earmarked For Some Of Mally Mall's Client List Of Global Superstars Like Tyga, Drake, And Chris Brown Just To Name A Few. Mally Mall Was Certain That Epidemyk Could Hold His Own. Now Armed With Top Beats and Production, Epidemyk's First Single From His Mally Mall Collaboration Has Netted The Initial Single, Living In The Sky. The Single Brings Together The Multi-Platinum Lead Singer Slim From The Iconic Bad Boy R & B Group, 112. Slim as Well as The Vocally Dynamic, Jazz Lazzer, Lend Superlative Parts In The Making Of This Destined For Commercial Success, The Single, Living In The Sky. Epidemyk Also is Armed With A Blazing Music Video To Support The Marketing and Promotion Efforts Of This Independently Released Smash.
