Patrick Simas began writing this song in October and finished it up in November, in response to the tragic death of Michael Brown - gunned down by Darren Wilson.

"With the death toll rising caused by excessive police brutality, an ember has spread like wildfire in the form of protests, active youths in the streets (and I-95) disgusted by the current police state that is Amerika. People are furious - vehemently longing for any true sense of justice, but it all starts with each other. A beautiful autonomous world can rise from the ashes left by this god-fearing, sad world. Raze the flag."
