This soundtrack can be described stylistically as a merger primarily between the Baroque and late Romantic styles, with some traditionally Twentieth Century stylings as well. So too it is the case with it's orchestration. The use of Harpsichord, Pipe Organ, and continuo style ensembles relate directly to the Baroque era. Larger ensemble pieces exhibit more of a late Romantic style, as does the general tonality of the piece. The Twentieth Century influences, changing meter and irregular phrase lengths are scattered throughout.
