Billy Vanilli and the Pine Mountain Boys Fire Up New Single - Arrested for Arson Calling All Hep Cats and Cool Cuties! Mil-Ton Records jumps in the groove with its latest way-out platter, "Drinkin' Through the Alphabet." This crazy ditty spotlights Billy Vanilli and the Pine Mountain Boys in a hand-clappin' foot-stomper sure to raise the roof and lower your IQ. "This flying saucer is out of this world! It's strictly Endsville," raves spin-meister Alvin "Buck" McDye, recently relocated to Endsville. The Pine Mountain Boys pull out all the stops on this smokin' barn-burner. "You don't hardly hear it like this no more," enthused Duttonville wax-master Cousin Haystacks. "It's like dippin' yer pipe in moonshine and lightin' the wrong end!" About the Band Believe it or not, most of the Pine Mountain Boys are from nearby Digby. Yet they all claim residence in Pine Mountain. "We don't want nobody to think we're small town," bassist Byron "Slappy" White explains of the deception. Long-time staples on WPM's "Bar-B-Que Roundup," the band recently went on hiatus while their matters were adjudicated. Singer and guitarist Billy Vanilli notes, "I used to spell it B-i-l-l-i-e but this way's more sophisticated. It did take a bit of gettin' used to, though." Rounding out the combo are "Ivory" Elmore Waters on piano, Diogenes Brown on guitar, and Spud Merkin on drums. A promotional tour will take the band through Calhoun County on into Garland, with tentative dates in Pike and Middlinburg. Also appearing will be the Pine Mountainettes. Darlene speaks for them all when she says, "We've always wanted to be in show business and now we almost are."
