简介
Nosedive is a contrafact based on the Jazz standard Autumn Leaves which I leavened with a few additional harmonic changes. I was very fortunate to have one of Germany's best rhythm sections for this date - Mischa Schumann, piano; Thomas Biller, bass and Heinz Lichius on drums. The band handles this up tempo with the elan that shows how far things have progressed in a country formally known best musically for its symphony orchestras and military bands. I had a great time this day and hope to be releasing further tracks from this session as I find the time to mix them. Until then enjoy this musical sketch from Hamburg on the Elbe. cheers Jerry Jerrytilitz.com JERRY TILITZ is a american trombonist, composer and vocalist from New York City presently ensconced in Hamburg, Germany.
