Shamus developed an affinity for music from a young age, consistently achieving top honors in choir and solo competitions as a child. His love for music was further enhanced when he started playing the guitar. This is where his song writing journey began. He immediately displayed a gift of melody, and the uncanny ability of composing lyrics and musical themes in a variety of methods. Over many years Shamus built a home recording studio, constantly upgrading it to enhance the sound and to keep up with the ever changing pace of technology. With the assistance of this technology, he was able to take his music writing ability to a professional standard. With determination and hard work, he was able to develop his ability, to vary his voice for background vocal effects and harmonies, and record his music. In addition, he was better equipped to communicate his music and compositions to his producers.
