Based in Los Angeles, raised in France in a Spanish family, Fernando Diez was influenced by the Latin music of his Spanish parentage and by the African and Middle Eastern music scenes in Paris. On top of studying heavily word traditional percussion Fernando also studied Jazz, Rock, R&B, and Pop styles, and has trained and worked all over Europe, Africa, Cuba and the US. Constantly in demand for his dramatic drumming style, he recently toured with Cirque du Soleil, and has performed and recorded all over the world.
