简介

Heather Elaine. A Houston native with an eclectic, vocal sound. Got her start in music and the performing arts at the tender age of 7. Heather began performing in Gospel and Concert Choirs at Alpha Seventh-Day Adventist Church, under the direction of Gloria Quinlan a former Music Professor at the University of Texas. Heather's unique tone made her stand out from other members of the choir and earned her the opportunity to perform a solo during church service. Heather was given the song "Yes, Jesus Loves Me," by Anna Bartlett Warner to perform and she was phenominal. Her mature voice and outstanding vocal control blew the congregation away. By the time she was done, everyone was on their feet, giving her a rousing applause and it was only the begining. After, that intial performance Heather became a popular vocal element in church services around the city and with time, came experience. Heather Elaine went on the compete in talents shows around Houston and by the age of 15, she joined an All-Girls Singing Group called “Aliz’A”, named after a popular alcoholic beverage, and began her career as a professional recording artist. Time progressed and “Aliz’A” fizzled due to some creative differences in management, but Heather was not dismayed. She began to explore her options and decided that working as a solo artist was her best bet. Soon, she was writing her own musical scores and hooked up with Houston producer Mikell “Fetti” Limbrick and Mr. Michael Angelo, aka Galo out of Chicago to begin working on her solo project. Heather, also, began to explore her acting talents and she was afforded the opportunity to study theater at The Charnelle Brown Acting Academy. The highlight of Heather Elaine's career came when she was cast in a Je'Caryous Johnson I'm Ready Productions play called “Men Cry in the Dark.” Which was based on a book written by Michael Baisden and was headlined by Allan Payne, Richard Roundtree, Christopher Williams and Lavell Crawford. Heather was stomping with some Hollywood "Big Dogs," and she held her own. Her witty, portrayals of "Nikki" and "Jerminicia West" stole the show. Over the years, Heather has been afforded the opportunity to sing in the background for Scarface, director choir for House of Prayer-Houston, perform in the Law Office Night Club and the Red Cat Cafe. Heather Elaine is currently in the process of completing her long awaited album entitled "Chronicles of Love" and is exploring the possibility of acting in a major motion picture. Heather's motto is "why put off for tomorrow what you can do today?" Written by: Erica Renee
