Ray's string charts give grandeur and mystery to Greensleeves, Willow Weep for Me, and his own shimmering South Shoa' Blues. And it's spirituality that comes to the fore when Carl switches to the Hammond organ for Ray's monumental Gospel piece, Invocation, and his Miles of Joy, which linkes J.S. Bach and Miles Davis in a unique celebration of life, love and the holy spirit.
