简介
Burning Codes is the solo project of Belfast born singer & songwriter Paul Archer (who also contributed vocals to five tracks on Snow Patrol’s ‘Eyes Open’) along with various sonic collaborators including members of Snow Patrol, Athlete, and Iain Archer. Burning Codes music concerns our own unique messages, the codes which are truly ours, uniquely understood and owned by each of us. The music is birthed from our moments and what we do with these moments, how we see, feel, react, encode and decipher the inner messages and the outer manifestations of what we feel, think and do. The new album, Rivers Of Hope, is the third Burning Codes release. It is born from a deep desire to express, share and communicate a will to experience a real sense of connectedness, diversity, inclusivity and communality on this journey. Burning Codes has received Radio One airplay via Zane Lowe's ‘Evening Session’, BBC 6 Music and BBC NI's ‘Across The Line’ plus various local stations nationally as well as independent radio stations in the U.S. Burning Codes have supported Snow Patrol, Lisa Hannigan, Elbow, Duke Special and many others. Rivers of Hope is released on Indiecater Records (http://www.indiecater.com) on 20 June 2011 Quotes Gary Lightbody (Snow Patrol) - ‘Breathtaking…it kicks redemptive ass’ Michael Rother (Neu/Kraftwerk) - 'Your concept of intimacy and space is very interesting. Beautiful music, congratulations!' Iain Archer (Solo Artist, Ivor Novello Award winner) - 'It is new music that sounds like nothing else around at the moment ‐ beautiful, soulful, momentary paeans of glory, I kid you not.' mp3hugger (music blog) - 'Burning Codes are showing why it is sometimes better to lead by what comes from inside rather than follow what is going on all around.'
