At the age of 17, Luke Shipstad has already entered into the world of electronic dance music with quite a bang. Residing on Bainbridge Island USA, Luke has been infatuated with music since the tender age of 8 when he first started listening to and playing classical piano music. His infatuation with different sounding melodies grew over the years and eventually peaked when he heard the classic DJ Tiesto smash remix of "Adagio for Strings". Luke immediately saw a connection between him and the music, and was hooked. His first release at only 16 "Rekin" was a great success for the young man which is now on to his second project in only a few months called "Ohana" which is also expected to do very well. On remix duty is Luke himself, with Luke's Static Remix which is a darker version of the track, as well as a Dizmo Edit which really blasts this track right into the stratosphere.

After only a year on the electronic music scene and already making waves, we can only imagine what's to come of this talented young man.
