For 25 years now the band „Blueswuzln“ from Salzburg is well established in the Austrian music scene. Originally the flexible combo that mostly performed as a duo was dedicated to the old blues-tradition: they played Country- and Folkblues in the style of Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Big Bill Broonzy and Elmore James. Only for greater events they occasionally extended their setup with a rhythm section and moved more towards the rock style by inviting Georg „Gic“ Gruber on electric guitar. The sideproject „Mood“ emphasizes an intrumentation that is very unusual in original blues bands: turntables, trumpets, synthesizer, background vocals and percussion. You have never heard the songs of Blueswuzln like that before: with that Album the band invented itself totally new and did not fear to walk new paths towards Soul, Funk and Rock - which gives the songs written by mastermind Fred Hoelzl a totally new perspective and drive. It even caused the fact that they gave the whole project a new title: „MOOD“. The refreshing diversified production supplies sound paintings that will thrill a blues and jazz audience as well as rock and pop fans.
