The song tells the story of a trick-or-treater who gets caught up seeing the Frankenstein monster everywhere! Ann-dee started her professional recording career back in 2011 with a song called “Beware My Heart” and she has gone on to do several albums and singles, including the “Metro Jungle,” “The Fabrique,” as well as “Love Speak” in 2014 and “Rapping With The Witch, in 2015. “Halloween has always been a favorite holiday of mine and I had such fun costarring with Butch Patrick in the music video for a song called “It’s Only Halloween,” I decided to create a few of my own! “I loved playing a witch in “Rapping With The Witch “ in 2015 and this year I get a chance to do a song from the viewpoint of a trick-or-treater.“ Ann-dee also says that she was lucky to have the top notch production team of: Henry Golis, record producer, who has produced music with several luminaries such as Butch Patrick of TV’s The Munsters’ fame and Elvis’ backup group, the Jordanaires; Fred Guarino, recording engineer, of Tiki Recording Studios, in Glen Cove New York, who has worked with many artists including Billy Joel; and Wayne Sabella, pianist, who plays piano accompanying numerous acts who perform in local venues around the New York tri-state area. Last but not least, Jimmy Bralower, legendary drummer and percussionist, who has worked with R.Kelly, Britney Spears, Julian Lennon, Madonna, George Harrison, Cyndi Lauper, Eric Clapton, Cher, Willie Nelson and Celine Dion to name a few. “I’m looking forward to Halloween this year with all of its spooky songs and hauntings, “says Ann-dee, adding that “my new song has opened up more creative possibilities of course!” The single was produced by HG Productions for the label Shimmy Cat Records. Ann-dee was also the composer and lyricist on this. Lyrics: I was hopping down a ghosts lane kind of feeling feeling insane when they shrieked it began to rain then I saw Frankenstein. I walked down the corner on the fly a big old ghost he started to cry it’s Halloween I guess that’s why then I saw Frankenstein. Mummy mommy won’t you help me I’m alone alone as can be it’s so dark I can barely see then I saw Frankenstein. I got my candy at the neighborhood store zombies tried to grab me I let out a roar my scary screams they couldn’t ignore then I saw Frankenstein. Ran for cover dodged into a park I really can’t do this I’m afraid of the dark and then the werewolves they began to howl-bark and then I saw Frankenstein. Mummy mommy you got to help me I’m alone in the back of a tree Vampires sure are gonna get me then I saw Frankenstein. Had to think and use my head before long I’d soon be dead zombies look like they need to be fed then I saw Frankenstein. Mummy mommy how could this be I’m wrapped up in a mystery all the monsters crowding around me then I danced with Frankenstein; then I danced then I danced then I danced with Frankenstein!!!
