“Brand New Day” was written, arranged, and performed (lead and background vocals) by Mike Anthony. The project was produced, mixed and mastered by the extraordinaire Mr. Coley of Timeless Soul Publishing. Mike Anthony also produced a track on the CD entitled “Take It Off” and served as the Executive Producer for the project. The CD features a variety of message-filled urban gospel tracks including the title cut, “Brand New Day” . . . an inspirational song that encourages listeners to forget about the past and “start life over”. Listeners are sure to be captured by the explosive upbeat urban tracks “Get Back in the House,” “Feel the Spirit,” and “Nothing Can Separate Me.” Mike Anthony’s experience as a lead vocalist, music director and voice coach helps him to create unique harmonic blends and to carefully balance each song with a “traditional message” and a “today’s sound.” Mike Anthony is on a heart-felt mission; a spiritual journey to encourage “those who are downtrodden and want to give up on life.” Mike Anthony is very concerned about the state of affairs of today’s young people; whom for lack of a solution to their problems have oftentimes turned to crime, drugs and hazardous living. So what’s the solution? Mike Anthony truly believes that God is the answer to these problems and through Him there is still hope for our youth and others who are undergoing the trials of life. Mike Anthony’s goal is to proclaim this HOPE by writing and producing “Music With A Message” and ultimately spreading the message everywhere!
