Associated Acts is an American hip hop group that formed in 2005, and is composed of MC/producer NoCoast BlackSmith(Brandon Smith) and MC Ton EZ(Anthony Hagans). Forming in 2005, Associated Acts has combined a fusion of high energy club anthems, infections melodic flows, aesthetic classic boom bap traces, and signature gut rumbling bass lines. The past decade have seen the North Dakota based group release over 100 songs, 10 mixtapes and 4 albums. Associated Acts has performed in over 12 states and also in Peru. Hailing from Minot, North Dakota, artists NoCoast BlackSmith & Ton EZ grew up in the cold city together and began making beats and recording music at BlackSmith’s mom’s garage. They had a love for Nas, Big L, Gang Starr, Eminem, Little Brother, Murs and Three 6 Mafia. On his free time, Ton EZ enjoys studying filmography while NoCoast BlackSmith likes to study economics and invest in the stock market. Signed to their own label, Associated Acts LLC, the duo is independently distributing their music to Itunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and iHeartRadio. Associated Acts is currently working on “The Album Mixtape II” while Ton EZ and NoCoast BlackSmith is working on solo albums. Associated Acts’ philosophy is to have fun, make hits and enjoy what life brings them.
