Marcus Warner is a composer, orchestrator and producer, born in 1996 and currently residing in Wiltshire, England. He has been composing music for more than 12 years, progressing through various genres of acoustic and electronic music and writing pieces that range from contemporary piano solos to full orchestral symphonies. He describes his aim as being ‘to produce epic and uplifting music that raises the heart’, and sets himself on making work of an exceptional quality which surpasses itself with each release. "When listening to music on my own, whatever kind it might be, the chances are I will start visualising some video or film scene in my head, completely made up to fit the music. Usually it will be featuring my friends and colleagues, and I can recall a few where I came up with ideas for a complete feature-length film just so my ‘video’ would make sense. Epic battle-scenes, phantom ships rising out of the ocean and grand flying machines ascending through the clouds are a few that come to mind… and they would all be perfect. Every sword clash, roll of thunder or explosive gunfire would be timed so that the music fitted perfectly, and on every occasion, without fail, I would end up with goosebumps. "I had written electronic music and solo piano pieces for years, but film music had never crossed my mind until some point when, in the midst of one of my action-fantasies, it hit me: I wanted to write that music. Film soundtracks have always been a favourite of mine and often I would take a piece of music I liked and set a new original scene to it. Now, I decided, I would turn it the other way round, and take my visions and set original music to it. That is where you find me today. Simply put, I write the soundtrack to the movies in my head, movies which are as amazing as you want them to be. I hope you enjoy them."
