Ian Charles asks us to "Just Listen" on the opening track of his new original album entitled, "After Lamplight, The Obvious". His first full length album since 2008's Born Right Inside. Following a 2011 poetry book release. Taking us along through 12 personal, observational and powerful new songs. Almost proclamations, as on "Folded Wings" or "An Open Book" while living "In The In-Between". Also a co-written/duet with his longtime friend and fellow singer/songwriter from the Woodstock NY band, Hallow Dog, John Holt, on the song "Lost In The Rain". This is a powerful work of incredible poignancy and Ian Charles' most fully realized album to date. Moving forward with his signature acoustic and electric guitar rhythm section and Ian taking over piano, organ and keyboard and drum duties throughout. With help from his long standing Bassist, Marshall St. Clair. Plus contributions from a few close musical friends.
