SKEEM (SKEEM 2 da SKEEM) born Tabitha Parker was raised in Benton Harbor, MI. At an early age she showed a strong passion for music and writing. She began with writing poetry. During junior high school she began to compose songs. SKEEM (SKEEM 2 da SKEEM) made the transition to hip-hop in 1997, joining her two brothers (Big Bino & Mr. Kritikal) as a member of the family group. SKEEM (SKEEM 2 da SKEEM) would perform anywhere for anyone that was listening. After her first verse on the group’s 1997 single “Homicidal Dividends” her lyrical content began to get her recognition as a M.C. At 16 years of age the buzz was started. Many anticipated great things were to come from her.
