This work was written to accompany relaxation therapies such as Massage or Reflexology. There are three pieces. The first begins with a gentle melody of 7 notes, representing the 7 major chakras of the body. As the piece progresses it becomes simpler in nature, corresponding to the slowing of the breath as the body and mind fall into a deeper state of relaxation. By mid piece small motifs are repeated as in a tantric chant. At the conclusion, a small temple gong is struck 5 times honoring the 5 elements. The second piece begins where the first left off - an ethereal soundscape. Relaxation is at its deepest level. The third piece begins in the same style gradually becoming slightly more "interesting", gently waking the mind from its rest. I hope this music enhances your relaxation experience.
