Over the past couple of years, Andy Payne has been making a name for himself in the expansive London Open Mic scene. Taking influence from artists such as Frank Turner and New Model Army as well as Johnny Cash and Nirvana, Andy has developed an unique sounding blend of acoustic punk and folk music.

Andy’s debut LP ‘Falling Apart’ is an energetic mixture of personal and political songs ranging from fast paced aggressive punk songs such as ‘The Innocent’ and ‘Campaign of Lies’ to slow and solemn tracks such as ‘Polaroid Palace’ and ‘Your Song’. Andy’s raw and brutally honest lyrical themes have been described as a welcome change in a scene where artists are continually trying to shy away from politics and other serious issues in fear of limiting their potential audience. With the unexpected announcement of June’s General Election, ‘Falling Apart’ couldn’t be coming at a more important time.
