The music comprised on this album captures a big part of the musical output that I had with my working band over the last three years. We've been playing this music up and down the country for a long time and finally recorded it at Loft, Cologne, in February 2014. The band consists of some of my closest musical collaborators, it features Alex Bühl on tenor sax, Andreas Feith on piano, Max Leiß on bass, Julian Fau on drums and myself on alto and soprano sax. Some of these guys have been playing together for ten years, none being older than 28 at this point. So I hope that we managed to put together an exciting set of songs, at least I feel very satisfied with the album. It's got lots of energy and melodic sense, I hope it will unfold emotional impact on the listener. And I am also really satisfied and proud that it came out on our own music label FLOATmusic that we founded in the meantime - there's more music from us, check it out! We have our artwork done by our dear and lovely label designer and photographer Nadine Targiel, she has created something of real beauty.
