Born in Korea, but raised in Ohio (since she was five), this songstress who was part of the world renowned Korean Pop group K.I.S.S., has set her wings free and is flying solo. Since K.I.S.S. broke up in early 2002, JiNi has been back in Ohio writing more music for music lovers everywhere. This particular record JiNi collaborated with up-and coming dub-step producer Derocc. With JiNi as the song-writer and Derocc producing the track, they bring you "(I Am Free) In The Night" JiNi, former lead singer of Korean Pop Group K.I.S.S. is back with a vengeance with her solo comeback single. It is available now on iTunes, amazon and spotify. "My plan for my album (due out in Summer of 2013) is to drop 3 singles that all have a connection with each other. It will be a 3 part song-series auto-biography style". Not all of it will be dark (the album) as it seems to be thus far. "I've gotten a lot of messages on facebook asking if all my new songs will be 'doom-and-gloom'. It's not the case at all. But, the darkest of my songs will be the first 3 singles." JiNi, who always writes her own music and in the past produced all her own music decided to collaborate with an up and coming dub-step producer for this record. "I'm very lucky and blessed to have met this very talented individual. He goes by the name of Derocc. The minute I heard his work, I knew I wanted to work with him. I was adopted by age 4, and called Ohio my home by age 5. I have ultimate pride in my Korean heritage and respect for the American ways.
