The Competitors, led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Rich Young are a New Jersey based three piece band that plays music and puts out recordings. One song leads to another in a cohesive collection based on song craft, thought and inspiration. The idea was to invite twenty five friends and family into the studio and watch us record. The result was exactly what we thought it would be; high octane performance from all of us. We couldn't have done it better any other way.
