She was raised in care and grew up with very little parental guidance; so from a very early age she learnt how to fend for herself and survive ‘on road’. As time went by her connections to the street grew deep and led to her incarceration. During this period Brew.c untapped her love for writing and performing and upon her release decided to take music more seriously. She was known for her confidence and her desire to host on the mic; booked or not lol. She performed at many popular events such as Garage Nation, Bagleys, WKD, Gas Club and Ministry of sound and collaborated with acts such as Miss dynamite, Pay as you go and Heartless crew. Things were looking up but a rare illness combined with the birth of her two sons made it difficult for her to balance life as a young mother with the stressful demands of the music industry. Thus, as time went on Brew.c decided to take a break from music and spend quality time with her children. Forwarding on a few years, Brew.c is back in business. 2011 will see the release of her latest offering Ruff Gyal ride and there will be a host of key features to look out for. So watch this space.
