Girls Night Out was formed in the early spring of 2008. With Karen Osburn on vocals and electric bass (and occasionally drums), and Cindy Marie Karr and Lisa J. Case on vocals and acoustic guitar, you'll hear high energy, tight harmony, and heartfelt emotion on this album. Influenced by the likes of singers from Kitty Wells to Jessi Colter, and Patti Page to Emmylou Harris, Girls Night Out is a little bit country, a lot of harmony, and a whole lot of fun! After a performance, a gentleman told the girls, “Listening to your performance made me feel like I was back at the old time Saturday night dances…I felt right at home.” Girls Night Out has been described as a “countrified Andrews Sisters.”
