This song as well as the rest of the songs on my forthcoming album " After a long time " have developed since I got my Fostex Porta Studio machine a few years back. Since I play and sing everything, it takes time and evaluation to get the songs right and to get objective enough to get new and fresh ideas that was lacking from the start. I put great effort into the lyrics and even more so to get the right feeling together with the music. Tiny things like small and short harmonies are important just like big chords with many instruments. Influences is something I never think about when I create my music because I want the songs to stand the test of time and be 100% ME if that is possible. When I compose, it´s very important that the song finds me instead of the other way around. I´m not into any special kind of music or genre, I have to have my musical freedom and artistic expression to be able to free my mind and bash away. I feel strongly about details because sometimes a small thing can terminate the big picture. On the other hand, when you hear a song and that special moment comes, a certain thing can make you tingle and get goosebumps! Sometimes those details makes up the whole song and without them you can´t get that special feeling. I think I´m also slightly adventurous, I like to find new ways of developing my music and the way I work. Trying out new songforms, new sounds from the instruments, maybe new ways of playing them and so on. But most important for me is to make music from the heart, nothing else matters. Hope you enjoy it!
