When the Pharaohs moved on from the land of the living, they were buried with all of their possessions. In this project I aimed to emulate this process; Instead of possessions I buried my self with every sound I was influenced by. From the melodies of a choir, to the cliche and repetitive drum patterns of pop radio, along with the way Hip hop chops samples. I tried to add the poetic and passionate vocal tones of Tupac, the cadence of Biggie, the honesty of Kanye, the indescribable climax of Hans Zimmer, along with the simplicity of John Lennon, and mixed the undeniable emotions of Michael Jackson. This song is an artist depiction and collage leading up to this point in my life.
