简介
The sixth release on KEARNAGE Recordings is here and it is without doubt our strongest release to date. After the massive success of the previous release Backbreaker, KEARNAGE Recordings are delighted to welcome the first appearance from another artist in the shape of Ireland's Mark Leanings. He scored previous success with releases on Spinnin Records with his tracks 'Never Mind' & 'Alaska' but with this track 'Dropshot' he has entered into a whole new ball park of production creativity and shock factor. The original version of the track has been causing quite a stir amongst DJ's and clubbers alike due to the inclusion of a club shaking dubstep section. In addition to this you are provided with a track that is bursting with energy. Pulsating basslines, tight percussion and a roof raising melody are all brought to the fore. For this release we have provided you with two different versions of the original, one containing the dubstep section and the other without. We'd rather let the track do the talking so take a listen and see which one you prefer, definitely one for all tastes. We have an extremely strong remix package for this release in the shape of KEARNAGE Recordings head man Bryan Kearney and the ever impressive Slovenian tech provider Reaky. Bryan Kearney provides us with a rip roaring 140 BPM acid laden club destroyer that is heavily influenced by the Paul Van Dyk sound from the turn of the millennium. Kick drums, basslines, acids, twisted synths, FX and vocal samples are all combined to provide a composition of immense energy. Reaky steps up to the plate to deliver a a Dutch tech style remix with a production level of the highest quality. If you are a fan of Marco V and Sander Van Doorn you will love this. This remix has already received support from Lange at ASOT 500. We are also delighted to supply you with a very special bonus edit of Bryan Kearney's Step Aside Lad Remix in the shape of the JOC Playma Edit. John O'Callaghan's extremely effective rearrangement of Bryan's Remix has been causing uproar in the clubs and in particular at ASOT 500. Early support on this release comes from John O'Callaghan, Lange, Sean Tyas, Tom Colontonio, Neal Scarborough, Paul Webster, Indecent Noise and more. KEARNAGE Recordings would like to thank everyone for their continued support of the label and we will back very soon to provide you with the follow up to 'Mexican Rave' in the shape of 'Stealth Bomber'. It's only just begun.
