Joshua Newell is a R&B Artist born in Cincinnati,Oh. He started music as a child in his church choir and soon after joined the gospel choirs within his highschools. Growing up he was immersed in different music and cultures ranging from blues, jazz, and duwop, from his grandparents to a range of hip hop and R&B from the 80's and 90's due to his parents. Being influenced by artists like Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight, he began to take music more seriously by writing and recording of his own accord. With encouragement from his family and friends, he fostered a working and personal relationship with King Shiz who in turn introduced him to Producer/ Artist Big Jim.
