The concept of this American female pop/rock duo began the fall of 1993 when Diana DeWitt and Robin Randall were on tour together in Europe. The girls were performing in an International/Multiple band/AOR Show backing their friend and phenomenal US Artist Mark Free (Signal,King Kobra). Free's album "Long Way From Love" had been written by Robin and her Mother-the late great Judithe Randall with Diana featured as backing vocalist. The girl's excitement and energy, while promoting Free's album, sparked a collaberation of their own resulting in this collection of songs entitled GRAND TRINE. These songs of love, loss, passion and desire inspired the birth of VENUS & MARS. Exceptional Producers Guy Marshall (Pat Benatar, Robert Tepper), James Christian (House of Lords) and Michael Hanna (Foreigner, Fogelberg, Michael McDonald)helped guide their path. Robin and Diana invite you to experience their extraordinary journey into the pulsing heart and visceral emotion of VENUS & MARS. After the independently successful launch of GRAND TRINE, VENUS & MARS signed a Japanese record deal with Avex Trax and released NEW MOON RISING in 1998. Including a popular BAYWATCH song as well as other recognizable pop/rock songs, their second CD "NEW MOON RISING" has been re-released and is available now through CD Baby and digital distribution.
