Lailo, Born LaiShawn LaBorde aspires to inspire. The young entrepreneur is not only a Recording Artist, but also an Author "From Rhymes to Reveille", A web-designer, A Business Owner and CEO to say the least. Growing up in the Ravenswood Houses of Long Island City, NY then later moving to Long Island's Central Islip, NY, Lailo has experienced poor - middle class living. At the age of 14, Lailo was featured alongside Eric Sermon of EPMD on a song titled "Paradise" by Troy S.L.U.G.S

After Graduating HS in '05 Lailo pursued his music career and in the beginning of 2006 formed his own Record Label "NewBreed Recordz". Since the start of NewBreed Recordz, Lailo has released the following Projects "Hard Work N Dedication", "For What its Worth", "Lailo Presents NewBreed" and "Who is Lailo Vol.1" Hosted by DJ SuperStar Jay.

Joining the United States Air Force in 2011 gave Lailo more exposure and content to write about. Seeing different Lifestyles across the world has opened his eyes and views on things that someone who hasn't traveled may not get by just watching TV. This experience also inspired the Novel "From Rhymes to Reveille" - an auto-biography of the experience going through Basic Military Training, which has no release date at this time.

While recording music and writing books, Lailo has also found time to invest and become an Independent Marketing Representative and Global Expansion Leader with a privately held Inc 500 Marketing Company. "We All have 24 hrs in a day, its what we do with our time, that determines what's yielded to us, whether that's an actor, rapper, or entrepreneur... What do you do that makes u different or stand apart from the rest?"
