The future of hip hop lyricism meets the essence of true hip hop production fusing thus a gifted vessel of song, music, and soulful outreach. Being a native of both northern and southern California, Jes has been exposed [to] and aware of the possibilities of success through his talents in the 10 plus years that he’s been exercising them. Though he would be considered a “west coast” mc, brotha Jes’ diverse style doesn’t dare allow that his sound be confined to any specific region. As a founding member of Soula System Music Group [a conglomerate of hip hop musicians and vocalist] the brotha “welcomes” us to this "new vibe" if you will, on track 10 of his forthcoming debut LP “self employed”. “Welcome to the soula system” is an outro of the album that features an outrageous instrumental produced by New Jersey’s own, Numba 9. The track is laced simply with affectionate words of gratitude spoken by brotha Jes to his future listeners.
