It’s always great to discover an new artist especially when arrive with new material. Suzanne Rentzke’s music is original, seious, full of emotion and nostalgia, woven together with remebrances and personal experiences. When you first listen to Suzanne Rentzke’s music, she reminds you of her stylish female Afrikaans icons. Yet she surprises with her fresh, unpretentious, but classical approach to her own music as well as those of other songwriters. From 2005 she performed at various theatres country wide with her solo performances. Since then she also performed at several festivals such as the KKNK, Kalahari Kuierfees, Innibos Arts Festival, Aardklop Festival and the Bravo! Festival. She still receives vocal training from internationally acclaimed opera singer, Emma Renzi.
