Here is the final instalment of the biggest remix package of the summer - all-time hard house classic Bad Boy by Mark Kavanagh. We have saved the best until last - three gargantuan remixes that have already been given the seal of approval by Andy Farley, Kutski, Ben Stevens and Sam & Deano. Originally released on Irish label Baby Doll and then London's Tripoli Trax, Bad Boy sold almost 20,000 copies on vinyl/CD between 1998 and 2000 and was featured on numerous compilation albums. Bad Boy is back for 2011 on MK Digital and the six new hard house mixes highlight the DJ's support for Irish talent and cover all styles of the genre. The Hard House Remixes EP1 features what has been dubbed the ultimate mix: Mark Kavanagh's My Bad Remix, which was given its first UK play by Kutski on BBC Radio 1FM. This incendiary remix combines elements of the three mixes from 1998 and 2000 and blends them into an electrifying new version that will doubtless become a classic in its own right. Also included is an eagerly anticipated funky, classic Tripoli Trax styled remake from James Devlin that Andy Farley has been caning for months. Devotion Dance founder James Devlin has been one of the forerunners of the Irish hard house scene ever since he was booked to play alongside Mark Kavanagh at his first gig in March 2000. His passion for and knowledge of the genre is unmatched. The EP also includes a monster mix from RTE Pulse sensation John Kerrigan, one of the Irish DJs that MK Digital has most admiration for since he played his first gig at a Baby Doll Records night in 2001. The Hard Sounds founder and Digital Underground presenter has since carved out his own uncompromising niche with a style that has won him huge admiration in the UK and Ibiza. He has played at Magna, the Hard Dance Awards, numerous Tidy Weekenders and Tidy events, and he will play five parties in two weeks in Ibiza this summer.
