Eco the Butterfly was first introduced on the steps of the Florida Capital as a Public Service Campaign for the 4th District of the American Advertising Federation in 2008. Music as Message managing partner, Ross Orenstein, is an award winning children’s songwriter who created the Safety Ape, Hearty and is co-creator of Eco the Butterfly. He is licensed to write, produce and distribute music for The National Crime Preventions Council’s McGruff the Crime Dog . Ross produced a puppet production on reading and literacy for Coca-Cola and Reading is Fundamental (RIF) for their Story Traveler Tour that featured his original music. WHO ARE THE ARTISTS & SONGWRITERS? The theme song for the project "Think Ecologically" was written by Ross Orenstein, Donna Britton and David Tough. Dr. Tough is a music production and audio engineering professor at Belmont University and has written and produced songs for commercials and major motion pictures. His 2011 creative works include songs in Seth Rogen's mall cop comedy "Observe and Report", the television show "Plain Jane" and a Pantene shampoo commercial. Dr. Tough is an active voting member of the The Recording Academy (Grammy Awards). "Talk about Saving the World,” as featured on World News (co-written w/CJ Watson, winner of the Kerrville New Folk Award for Songwriting, and 2013 Oscar Contender for his song "Voodoo" from the movie, Halloween Party).
