Nur is Art Fazil’s first solo album sung in the Malay language. The mood of the album was described as somewhat akin to Cat Steven's Tea and the Tillerman. The album won Best Solo Album award in Singapore’s Malay Music Awards- Anugerah Planet Music in 2001. The single ‘Merindu Kepastian’ (Track 2) won the Best Song Award.
