Singer, songwriter, producer, musician and entrepreneur, Matthew Carmona, a Brooklyn, New York native, began as a musician at the age of 12 playing the trumpet at his church in New York. He later went on to be the lead musician at church services. Matthew was a featured artist on “Celebration of Praise”, a Tampa, Florida based television program which aired on the Christian Television Network (CTN). Matthew was also on Daystar Television Network as a featured artist at a New Jersey Youth Conference; with 400 in attendance yet seen by thousands. Matt Carmona later had the opportunity to share the stage with many influential artists and speakers, including Prophetess Taketa Williams, Dove Award winning artist KJ52 and Interscope Recording artist Soulja Boy.

In early 2010, Matthew Carmona helped pioneer the start of “Fly Mental”, an independent music label based in Columbus, Ohio. Fly Mental has a diverse group of artists that are determined to fly free from the box set for them by our culture.
