简介
Chris Myers was born and raised in Indiana. Growing up as a minister's son, he was groomed to be a performer in the church. Being classically trained, he was signed into an opera company at the age of 9, touring with Amahl and the Night Visitors, as Amahl. By 12 he performed in the Broadway tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Various other roles would allow Chris the opportunity to grow as a performer throughout the years. However, once he was recruited to Purdue University to be a soloist in the Varsity Glee Club, everything seemed to escalate. With 150 performances a year, the Glee Club offered Chris a unique opportunity. After his freshman year he signed his first record deal with Sony Music/Epic Records (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria). As a member of the boy band Fource, Chris toured 13 countries--performing for millions on national television shows throughout Europe. With two certified Gold records and a compilation album selling six-times Platinum, the group was beginning to gain momentum. Nevertheless, after advice from friends in the industry, Chris decided to return to Purdue to finish his studies. He graduated in 2007 with his B.A. in Film & Video Production. After taking time to be with friends and family, he realized he needed to take a greater leap. In 2012 Chris moved to New York City. He's currently a student at NYU in pursuit of his Masters in Graphic Communications Management and Technology. Chris is an Account Executive for one of the world's leading creative production agencies, Coloredge | New York. He is also creating, writing, and composing "Social Life: The Musical" with a small creative team. The songs "BANDAID" and "MY WORLD" are co-written with Grammy Nominated musician and producer Lonnie Park. Lonnie produced the tracks and plays all the instrumentation supporting Chris's truly dynamic vocal performances. Follow: @ChrisMyers113 Add: Facebook.com/TheChrisMyers
