The duet of these 2 artists brought several Awards, including the Legendary Achievement Award, presented onstage at The Grand Ole Opry.

Stonewall wrote the song, and suggested that multi-award winning country gospel artist Donny Richmond record it. Donny, In turn, invited Stonewall to record it as a duet. The record producer was Stonewall's son, Stonewall Jackson, Jr.

"Jesus is My Lifeline" was re-released in Europe in 2006, where it also reached #1 throughout Europe, on both the Contemporary Christian and Christian Country Charts.
