Mark and I wrote the bones to the song "Tearing It Down" years ago as flat mates up in New Haven. I fleshed it out over time and here it is, all grown up. "Place of Love" germinated sometime after I came back to NYC from California when the nineties were finally behind me. It's the snappy one with those harmonies that I like! I've been singing "Carry Another " for many years. It dates back to my twenties. Can you tell? "Disbelief " is my most recently completed piece. Its atmosphere and reference to "the pace of time" make it my personal favorite and my hope is it rewards the listener for seeing the record through.
