简介
SAVAGE SQUAD In the summer of 2003, Boogie, Zoe and Salmonella worked on a sugarcane farm. While trying to earn money, the three made work easy by flowing. As the movie 8 Mile came out, it seemed as if everyone wanted to be this big rap star. Boogie and Salmonella, who are brothers, told Zoe of their dad's studio that he had. After writing lyrics to a main stream beat, the squad was ready for their first recording. The first song titled "We On Fire" soon became popular amongst friends in the small town of Loreauville. After "We On Fire" the hope for another Savage Squad song was unpredictable. With school starting and a lot of things going on, the squad would not get back in the studio till the end of the school year. In the summer of 2004, things got a lot more interesting. The Savage Squad began making promising songs in no time. Though not working on the farm any more the squad stayed in touch. As all these songs kept becoming more and more detailed, the squad decided to release a CD when school would start back up. With school coming right around the corner, production slowed down but not their lyrics. The Savage Squad released their CD titled "Cruel Intentions" in early November of 2004. Cruel Intentions became a bootlegging must in the area. With little success, but a lot of eye opening, that was just the beginning for the Savage Squad. Soon after the CD was released, the chances of another Savage Squad album happening was little. Salmonella decided he just wanted to do the behind the scenes work, like compose and make beats. With Boogie out of technical school, he began working non-stop, and Zoe wanted to go solo. As the Savage Squad feel apart, Big Zoe was just getting started. Big Zoe with his versatility and his punishing lyrics soon had him a mix tape of his own. Big Zoe's CD titled "The Mixtape Machine Gun" was the only thing being recorded in the studio and was out in no time. With a little more promotion of the mix tape, than the Savage Squad CD, Big Zoe got his share of the limelight. Boogie and Salmonella were featured on the album, and this sparked a return of the Savage Squad. After "The Mixtape Machine Gun", Salmonella began making original beats for the squad to rap to. As school was ending, Savage Squad had 3 songs to call their own. As summer was coming to an end the Savage Squad was finished with the CD. The new Savage Squad CD “The Fame” features artist by the name of Cecil the Decil (courtesy of Lake Dauterive Records), J Million (courtesy of Lake Dauterive Records),Cool and Jonathan Knatt. With the most anticipated album from Lake Dauterive Records, the Savage Squad is about to get their break. Oh and let's not forget Mr. Kevin Judice, he lays the law down on the first and last tracks to set the CD off just right. Thanks Kevin Special Thanks to Mr. Woodrow Gondron (Sal and Boogie's dad) for letting us use his studio, and supplying those awesome guitar riffs. Special thanks to the featured artist, and to our family and friends because without yall we can't Do What We Do!
