Hi! My name is Aegis Bonesteel. I was born in England, but have spent and lived the majority of my life in Upstate New York. I (as do many others) consider my music difficult to define. We as human beings are a dynamic bunch, capable of incredible beauty and unspeakable brutality. I believe my music reflects just that. I suppose my music can be pigeonholed into the category of alternative folk or folk-rock but in truth, it's much broader than that. If one were to attempt a comparison by reference of well known, established bands and other musical artists, it would be a fair assessment to say my "sound" is a cross between The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, The Violent Femmes, radiohead, Arlo Guthrie and Tenacious D. Someone once commented that my music has the sound of "a twisted Neil Young". Ok, that's cool too ;) I'll simply let you, the listener decide for yourself. Let the music play. Enjoy!
