Mary Jackson has been inspired to sing since early childhood. Her gospel music ministry began in 1984, through the inspiration and leadership of the Holy Spirit. The purpose and focus of this ministry is to reach out to as many lost souls as possible--young, old, rich or poor--with the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This ministry has taken her throughout the United States, Canada, the Bahamas and Central America. These journeys alone have created a strong desire to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ even more. Mary’s involvement in ministry includes, but is not limited to, the following ministries: Prison Ministry (Women, Men & Juvenile) Street Ministry Senior Citizens Ministry Homeless Shelter/Soup Kitchen Ministry Mary Jackson’s heart is deeply sensitive to the pain and struggle of Women. She also has a ministry for the Mentally Impaired. As Mary embarks on her first Solo Project, she continues to pray and look more in-depth into the word of God, so that she can--through witnessing, recorded works, and live appearances-- leave the believer or non-believer with something more than just a good feeling, but with substance that will help them to endure these evil times in which we live. Mary realizes the importance of singing with a personal conviction and assurance that our Lord and Savior is soon to return--convincing the hearer through the Holy Spirit to seek the Lord while there is still yet time. Mary’s ambition is to walk worthy of this calling; remaining humble, meek and not becoming high-minded--knowing that the Lord God seeks those who desire to worship him in spirit and in truth. Mary Jackson has performed in many venues. She has performed and shared the stage with such artists as The Winans, Bebe & Cece Winans, The Rev. Dr. Shirley Ceasar, Deleon Richards, Nicholas, The Rev. Milton Brunson, The Rev. John P. Kee, The Rev. Timothy Wright and many more. Mary has made several appearances on BET, via The Bobby Jones Show, has frequently appeared on Channel 22 in Largo, Florida, appeared on the Arthelene Rippy TV show “Homekeepers,” and has interviewed on numerous radio broadcasts. Mary performs a signature brand of gospel music which is described as “Contemporary gospel sound with a traditional flavor.” Mary branches off from “Redeemed,” a Tampa, FL-based gospel music ministry formerly on the Diadem/Tribute Record Label of Nashville Tennessee. "Redeemed" released their first album in Feb. of 1992. Mary shared this record label with such artists as Yolanda Adams, Ben Tankard, Lynette Hawkins, Daniel Winans, Keith Dobbins and The New Jersey Mass Choir. In summary Mary Jackson is a powerful lead vocalist with a distinctive vocal talent. Her prayer is that the Lord continues to use this ministry to draw lost souls to the Life Source, Jesus Christ.
