Hard swinging scandinavian organ jazz! This album has 9 originals by Andreas and a arrangement of the classic Gershwin tune "I Got Rythm" delivered by Andreas Pålsson,organ Staffan William-Olsson, guitar and Lennart Gruvstedt, drums. This is the debut album of this new trio. It also features Kåre Nymark, trumpet and Even Skatrud on trombone on a couple of tunes. Andreas has been around the scandinavian jazz scene for a couple of years playing with artists like Zoltan Csörsz, Anders Bergcrantz, Helge Albin, Leroy Jones, Claes Janson... Staffan is well known for his work in groups like The Real Thing, Staffan William-Olson Sextet, Hawk On Flight and Mezzoforte. He has also established himself as an acknowledged composer and big band arranger. Lennart has been working as a professional drummer and percussionist since 1978. After being employed by the Danish Royal Orchestra, he joined the Danish Radio Big Band. During this period he also played with NHÖP (Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen) and Palle Mikkelborg. Recent projects include Anders Bergcrantz, Tolvan Big Band and more.
