Premier album personnel de Dimitri Daskalothanasis. Des textes grecs de la poétesse Ira Feloukatzi et un sonnet de W. Shakespeare mis en musique par le compositeur. Le titre « Geografia » (Géographie) renvoie à des errances musicales dans une ambiance de pop mélodique et aérienne et des musiques du monde. La voix cristalline de la chanteuse Katerina Vlahou transporte vers un monde onirique. Le sonnet de Shakespeare est interprété par le chanteur envoutant Giannis Palamidas. La chanteuse Fenia Papadidima participe avec un titre avec sa voix séduisante et expressive. Recently the new album "Geografia" (Geography) of the Paris based composer Dimitris Daskalothanasis, was released. It comprises music on poems of the well known poet Hera Feloukantzi, an instrumental piece, and music on a Shakespeare sonnet. "Geografia" refers to musical and mental wanderings, and the songs/ballads convey to an ethnic atmosphere aesthetically interpreted by the perceptive Katerina Vlachou. In the Shakespeare sonnet the voice of Giannis Palamidas is heard in a special appearance. In this CD, Fenia Papadodima also makes a special appearance interpreting one of the songs. The recording took place in Paris and In Athens during 2010 and the remixing was done in Athens. The composer Dimitris Daskalothanasis and Katerina Vlachou are members of the musical group “Mandragoras”, which for the last 10 years and promotes Greek music throughout France giving numerous performances and releasing 3 French label CDs. In his first recorded work in Greece, we can see the influence of the French culture and music to Dimitris Daskalothanasis and the harmonic co-existence of the traditional sounds and different musical roads. Περιλαμβάνει 8 τραγούδια σε στίχους της γνωστής δημοσιογράφου και ποιήτριας Ήρας Φελουκατζή, ένα οργανικό κομμάτι και ένα μελοποιημένο σονέτο του W. Shakespeare. Ο τίτλος του cd «ΓΕΩΓΡΑΦΙΑ» παραπέμπει σε περιπλανήσεις, μουσικές ή διανοητικές και τα τραγούδια, μπαλάντες που κινούνται σε μια έθνικ ατμόσφαιρα, αποδίδει αισθαντικά η ευαίσθητη τραγουδίστρια Κατερίνα Βλάχου. Στο σονέτο του Shakespeare ακούμε τη φωνή του Γιάννη Παλαμίδα. Στο cd επίσης συμμετέχει, ερμηνεύοντας ένα τραγούδι, η Φένια Παπαδόδημα.
