Due to entirely different life experiences of the individuals, I became who I am. The contemporary visual culture provided a new version of the vision, however, it also wiped out the uniqueness of our lives. Only when we finally reach the peak of civilization, we realized the most fabulous ages have faded with the picture tube television. The self-constructed Z generation was a mass experiment trying to digitalize our souls. It was a blessing as well as a curse that we couldn’t escape from the moment we were born. [The Belle Époque] is a brand new audiovisual creative project of Hormone Boys. It is also the first time trying cross-field work. Not only attempting to stand another point of view of seeing things, but also discuss about the relationship between picture memories and self-construction.
