简介
Angela B Foreman a.k.a Mz’Vocalz, 23 years old, a local singer/song writer from Salisbury Maryland. Angela has been singing since the age of 2. She started off singing in the house where her father had a studio as well as in church. As time progressed Angela began entering little Ms. Outdoor contests around the age of six till about nine years old, located in Dorchester County MD. As well as singing she plays Alto and Bari saxophone as well as a little piano. She began playing at the age of Ten in fifth grade. Angela would go on to continue playing her instruments and writing songs up to the age of 16 in the twelfth grade, when she decided to finally accept her love for singing and joined the concert choir. After joining concert choir she decided to take it to the next level and join her schools VPA program (Visual and performing Arts). While she did so much with music at school, at home she also was doing visual and performing arts. She would work with her father and his corporation called the SPAA singers; which is a preservation of African American Arts, through music and reenactments. Angela really wanted to pursue something in singing, so she inquired about trying out for American Idol. When trying out she was turned down at the beginning tryouts but that did not stop her from singing. After trying out for American Idol, there was a local contest that came to town “Making the Next Hit” which she indeed ended up winning, but was not rewarded. January of 2011 Angela continued to enter contests around town; she entered to sing the intro song for the local radio station Oc104. Angela won the contest and was featured on the radio for a year playing her intro song.
